Over the Mystic Mobile App
Currently developing an Android mobile app of a historical walking and biking tour around Medford. We started by talking to the Medford Historical Society and discussing their goals from the project. I mocked up wireframes on Balsamiq and made an architecture flowchart. I am currently developing the staggered list view of all the historical sites.
Sunkissed Families
Designed a website for Sunkissed Families, in association with the Center for Social and Emotional Health. Listened to the design requests of the founder and adjusted the site to fit the needs. Changed navigation bar to ensure that it was user friendly.
ZooBreak Game
Designed a 2D puzzle game and recorded process through UML diagrams and usability tests. Animated characters and created character controllers for the game.
RESEARCH
DevTech
I assisted with the analysis of a user report of an educational technology product. The survey was conducted by 189 parents and educators from 32 countries. I created graphs to represent the data, and categorized the qualitative findings to and noting down commonalities among the answers.
Chief Service Officer Program
I analyzed the effectiveness of a three-year $450,000 grant program by summarizing the successes, challenges, and best practices of reports from three cities.
Student Course Registration System
Designed, organized, moderated, and reported interviews and usability tests to review recent changes to the student registration system. Created a written report and made an oral presentation describing the findings.
Needs Assessment of Adolescent Parents in Broadmoor, LA
Interviewed agencies and led focus groups with adolescent parents to compile a report describing the available and desired resources to serve the needs of adolescent parents
